About the Program

We deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and child focused interventions to families with children. We support families with an intensive six month, in-home and community-based support to address child safety concerns, to ensure children and families are strong and connected and remain out of the child protection system.

Our team provides collaborative case management using a multi-disciplinary support approach. We hear the lived experience of families and involve them in all aspects of planning and goal setting. We privilege the voice of Aboriginal families and work to empower self-determination and promote the importance of culture.

Our team aims to keep children safe within their family by:

  • partnering with families;
  • assessing risk and protective capacities;
  • establishing safety;
  • increasing parenting capacity;
  • strengthening family functioning; and
  • strengthening family connections to culture, and information and community supports.

We are funded by Department for Human Services.
